Insulator: Apprentice

Applicants seeking the position of insulator apprentice will be instructed in insulation methods & techniques through "on-the-job" training or a formalized apprenticeship program.

Thomas Insulation Corporation is an official apprenticeship program provider and offers 2 semesters per year e.g., fall and spring, with a maximum enrollment of 20 students per class. Tuition and book fees apply.

Insulator: Mechanic Foreman

Applicants seeking the position of insulator mechanic foreman require 3-5 years of professional experience. They should have a familiarity in applied math, blueprint reading, schematic plumbing diagrams, mechanical designs, sheet metal layout, and fabrication. The position of mechanic foreman in addition to the above noted requirements, includes paid supervisory functions. Leadership skills are essential in this position.
